TRAINING FOR NEW LECTORS:
We are called to serve in many aspects of Parish life. One very important aspect is assisting with the Liturgy as a Lector. The Lector proclaims the word of God during Mass in the Liturgy of the Word. ALL Liturgical ministers must have received the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, and be in good standing with the Church. If you are interested in becoming a lector, please come to one of the training sessions to be held in the church as follows:

The Lector proclaims the word of God during Mass in the Liturgy of the Word. Two Lectors are scheduled for each Mass and usually read on a scheduled rotation. The Lectors read the first and second readings and, when the Deacon is not present, the Prayers of the Faithful. Training is provided. Consider sharing your talents by proclaiming God’s Word!
