The official pilgrim relic of the blood of St. John Paul II will be brought to Saint William Catholic Church. It is the only relic of its kind that travels the world. The still-liquified blood is contained in a circular glass ampule set in a reliquary in the form of a book, recalling the iconic moment from St. John Paul II’s funeral when the wind blew through the pages and finally closed the book of the Gospels that was laid open on his coffin. Because this is such a unique opportunity for parish communities across the Diocese, we invite you to share in this experience and extend this invitation to your friends and families. La reliquia oficial peregrina de la sangre de San Juan Pablo II se traerá a Saint William. Es la única reliquia de su tipo que viaja por todo el mundo. La sangre en estado líquido está contenida en una ampolleta circular de vidrio colocada en un relicario con forma de libro, recordando el momento icónico cuando el viento pasó por las páginas del Evangelio el día del funeral de San Juan Pablo II.
