RE Registration is Now Open!

Online registration for religious education is open! The tuition fees remain the same as last year: $40 for one child, $80 for two and $120 for three or more, with a $15 fee for sacramental classes for extra supplies.

If you completed online registration last year, you can access your family's information in Ministry Tracker to add your child(ren), select a class and pay the tuition. You may pay online by clicking on the gift tab or you may stop by the office during the week.

New parishioners or students new to the program may register online using Ministry Tracker or download the registration form here. Your registration is not complete until payment is made, and the costs go up by $10 on September 7 when classes start, so don't forget to pay!

Please prayerfully consider sharing your faith with the children and youth of our parish. Catechists are still needed for this school year.

If you have any questions about the requirements for sacramental preparation, please call Robin Yanez (Grades PK-5) at 512-296-0191, or Melanie Owens (Middle School and High School) at 512-259-3126.

Successful Second Annual Family Faith Fest!

Held annually the Saturday before the school year begins, Family Faith Fest is an opportunity for families to come together to encourage our children as they start the school year to “shine their light!”  Our parish family enjoyed fellowship and quality entertainment provided by many talented members of our community.

We thank all the awesome volunteers and talented musicians and singers who put on a fantastic show. A big shout out to members of the KC Council for lending a hand with the meal prep and set up and tear down.  We are especially grateful to Tim and Patty Paoletti for coordinating a fun evening of food, faith and fellowship.

Next time you see the performers, let them know how much you enjoyed the show and if you can share your time and talents for Family Faith Fest 2015, Tim and Patty would love to hear from you!

2014-15 Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

If you want to learn more about the Catholic faith or want to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or the Eucharist to enter more fully into the faith then consider attending RCIA!  We would be honored to walk the way of faith alongside you. Our first gathering is September 9 from 7- 9 PM in the Benish Center.

Sponsors are also vital to the RCIA process. They build a one-on-one relationship with a catechumen or candidate, sharing prayer and their own faith. If you received all of your Sacraments, are at least 16 years old, and are in good standing with the Catholic Church, we invite you to join us on September 2 from 7 to 9PM in the Day Chapel.

Please consider serving in this ministry for the 2014-15 RCIA year. Questions? Contact Kevin Pasnik at 512-585-0307 or Michelle Hill at 512-335-5567.

A Prayer for Labor Day

God our creator, we are the work of your hands. Guide us in our work, that we may do it, not for self alone, but for the common good. Make us alert to injustice ready to stand in solidarity, that there may be dignity for all in labor and in labor’s reward. Grant this through Christ out Lord. Amen. Joseph, patron of laborers, pray for us.

Stewardship of Treasure:

For parishioners who prefer the convenience of auto bill pay, it’s easy to set up monthly contributions by credit card or an electronic funds transfer. Simply decide on the type of transaction you prefer and download the form to fill out. You can bring the form by the office or place in an envelope and drop it in the collection basket during Mass. For more information about these options, please contact Cindy Perez at 259-3126 ext. 108.

Written acknowledgements for 2013 contributions were mailed mid January. If you did not receive your letter, please call the office to verify that our records are up to date and that we have your correct mailing address.

Each family is encouraged to participate in the capital campaign, Continuing Our Mission Expanding the Kingdom. Every sacrifice is welcomed and will make a big difference in helping us meet our financial goals.

This is also a good time to make any updates to your family profile.  Has your phone number changed?  Have you had a recent addition to the family? Please let us know of any recent changes by calling 259-3126 or email your updates to

Mother's Day Out (MDO):
